Water + Dirt = Mudd

All names and likeness' have been changed to cover up the idenity of the user of this poor little vacuum.

This little beauty is a picture taken of the bottom nozzle of an upright that has picked up way to much moisture. See all that nice caked on mud...looks yummy doesn't it. That wasn't the only thing caked with mud. Dirt is better for potting plants but that didn't stop these people (name unknown) from picking up moisture and coating the base plate and the brush roll in that black stuff as well.

Pick up moisture and your intake tube may look like this. Doesn't that just look so appetizing!? I know you don't want to clean this out and remember we'll do it for you, but before you let it get like this stop picking up moisture!

I love the picture below because it shows that the moisture you pick up can even make it all the way to the bag. See the yellow discoloration on the outside of the bag...you guessed it moisture...and no it's not what your thinking it is! This moisture was pretty much all water but with the combination of water and whatever else is in that bag that where the yellow discoloration comes from. Although you are right people do pick up what your thinking it is occasionally!

It amazes us how many people don't know they are picking up moisture. It can come from anywhere as you know. Don't vacuum up outdoor rugs or rugs on the inside of your door that you wipe your feet on because they may be wet. Also make sure your favorite furry friend isn't wetting the carpet. I know what you’re thinking "THEY DON'T DO THAT ANYMORE!"...that's what I thought to. However, many people are sucking up...well there's no getting around this...pee pee and this is technically a liquid and works like water...

water + dirt = mud

and

pee pee + dirt = mud


No matter how you add it up any liquid plus dirt equals mud and this could be your problem.

So turn your vacuum over and take the base plate off and make sure your not picking up moisture and if you did...drop it off and we'll clean it out for you!

Your carpets are dirty, your pets are acting up and your kids won't keep their food on their plate. That's where we come in. Now I know vacuums are the last thing you REALLY want to talk about but rules are rules you have to have one.

Over the years we have pulled some pretty weird items out of clogged hoses. As I recall some of the weirdest have been a Bob the builder hammer, Hotel sized lotion bottle, purple panties and my favorite a dead mouse. Yes, I said dead mouse. If you think that's gross think about how we felt...we had to get it out!!!

Problems with vacuums happen, it's just a fact of life. But that doesn't mean it has to be the end of your favorite vacuum. We do all kinds of repairs and will tackle pretty much anything...even dead mice!

I have two dogs a Miniature Schnauzer (Lola) and a Jack Russell (Jackie...yes sooooo original and by the way the rumors are true about them being super crazy) and I CAN'T be without a vacuum.
